Psalm 17

In distress, look to God, who has the ability to save us.

  1. David had a firm belief in the existence and nearness of God.
  2. David believed in the influence of God, and he committed his life into the hands of God.
  3. David believed in the marvelous loving kindness of God.
  4. Believers should treat others as the apple of the eye, just as we wish for God to do for us.
  5. Believers do not need their portion in this life. "I shall be satisfied when I awake, with thy likeness."
